About

Heather Mourer is a Colorado-based interior designer and ceramic artist.  She studied at Parsons School of Design in New York earning a degree in interior design, worked in the field over 20 years, and then began her work with clay during the global pandemic.  Heather's minimalist aesthetic is seen throughout all of her artistic disciplines.  Projects have a modernist base and evolve to embrace a softer, more organic feel.

Heather's first artistic passion was dance.  She studied ballet at the New York City Ballet's School of American Ballet and modern dance with Merce Cunningham, also in New York, and danced professionally for several years across the country.
